Measures taken / envisaged by States to meet the objectives of the Convention

• The Police will recommend the inclusion of Saint-Denis convention as an annex to the national legislation that provides for the prevention & suppression of violence at sports events.

National strategy/policies are linked to national legislation (Law 48(I)2008), the regulations of the stewards and the Saint-Denis convention. The convention is in the process of being annexed to national legislation. All of the above are binding on all parties involved in the organisation and conduct of sports events.
