18th Conference of Ministers Responsible for Sport – Documents
The Resolution highlights that, in light of its societal benefits, sport has to be promoted as a common resource, fostering its social, health and educational role and preserving it for future generations. Ministers thus commit, and call for, a fresh approach to collaborative governing and good governance in sport. This notably implies for states and sports organisations to sustain a continuous dialogue with athletes, local clubs, concerned youth representatives and civil society, recognising them as instrumental partners in promoting values-based sport.
