Alex Chalk, Lord Chancellor & Secretary of State for Justice the of United Kingdom, deposited, on 31 October 2023, before the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Bjørn Berge, the instrument of ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS Nº 218), also known as the Saint-Denis Convention.
The United Kingdom is the 28th State to ratify the Saint-Denis Convention, which will enter into force in respect of the United Kingdom on 1 December 2023.
