A team of anti-doping experts from the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) conducted a high-level visit to Moldova on 1-2 February. The visit focused on the strengthening of the anti-doping system and best practices in governmental clean sport policies.
The evaluation team met with high-level public authorities such as the Sport Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research, the Parliamentary Commission for Education and Research and Sport, the National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) and the Sport Olympic Commission of the Republic of Moldova.
This visit is part of the mandate of the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping to provide technical assistance to the State Parties to the Anti-Doping Convention, to better align their policies with the provisions of the Anti-Doping Convention in the fight for clean sport.
