The “Sport For All” joint European Union - Council of Europe project organised its second webinar on 24 March from 10am to 12.30pm CET. The event explored media representation of persons with disabilities in sport and provided a platform for exchange among researchers, journalists, sport institutions, advocates and athletes.
Discussions focused on how persons with disabilities are represented in sports media and how these narratives are evolving, and the responsibilities of media and sports organisations. The webinar concluded with practical recommendations for more inclusive sports media coverage.
