George S. Yiangou, Permanent Representative of Cyprus, deposited before Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, the instrument of ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS Nº 218), also known as the Saint-Denis Convention, on 14 November 2025 in Strasbourg, France.

Cyprus is the 33rd State to ratify the Saint-Denis Convention, which will enter into force in respect of Cyprus on 1 January 2026.
