The Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention held an Anti-Doping Education Workshop on 21 and 22 February 2023. Hosted in the headquarters of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), it welcomed education experts of 33 Council of Europe Member States, 2 Observer States and 9 international sport organisations, as well as representatives of WADA and IOC. The workshop allowed participants to share good practices on anti-doping education activities. A Generation Z expert also shed a new light on the development of educational activities for the youngest generation of athletes.

This workshop is part of the longstanding cooperation between the Council of Europe and UEFA in the field of sport integrity, specifically in the areas of the fight against doping, manipulation of sport competitions, and safety, security and service at sports events.
