Summary of the project: Peace Ball Project, which was developed based on the voluntariness of Sebahattin DEVECİOĞLU, an academician from Firat University, Sports Sciences Faculty, Elazig, Turkey giving away “Game Balls” as presents to children. The main purpose of the “Peace Ball Project” is to express that sports has no discrimination of religion, language or race, emphasize that olympism and sports is a shared value of mankind and ensure “ Peace, Friendship and Brotherhood” by sports. Peace Ball Project works to get game balls to community leaders, people, foundation, company around the world to help street , disadvantageous, refugess children play. Peace Ball Project is a individual organization that is volunteer led. 100% of donations go to partners to buy game balls. “We are inviting the whole mankind to this meaningful project with the wishes of ending the wars in the world and sustaining the peace”.

Summary of the project in original language: Fırat Üniversitesi, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi, Öğretim Üyesi, Doç.Dr.Sebahattin DEVECİOĞLU Gönüllülük esasına bağlı olarak geliştirmiş olan, “Barış Topu Projesi” (Peace Ball Project) çocuklara “Oyun Topu” hediye etme kampanyasıdır. Barış Topu Projesi kapsamında, gerçekleştirilen etkinlikler ile “Çocukların oyun oynama hakları” için farkındalık oluşturularak, tüm Dünya’daki insanların dikkatini ve ilgisini, çocukların yaşamış olduğu fakir bölgelere çekerek, tespit edilen, spor yapan kız ve erkek çocuklara spor malzemesi desteği için kampanya başlatılacaktır. “Barış Topu Projesi” nin temel amacı; sporun din, dil, ırk renk ayrımı göstermeksizin, tüm insanlığın ortak değeri olduğunu vurgulamak, tüm Dünya’da “Barış, Dostluk ve Kardeşliğin” spor yolu ile geliştirilmesini sağlamaktır. “Dünya’da savaşların sona ermesi ve barışın sağlanması dileği ile tüm insanlığı bu anlamlı projeye davet ediyoruz”
