EYF information sessions for youth organisations in view of the EYF 1 October deadline for international activities and annual work plans

Just like every year, the European Youth Foundation(EYF), in co-operation with the European Youth Forum, organised information sessions for youth organisations in view of the upcoming deadline of 1 October 2022 for 2023 annual work plans and international activities. These sessions  provided an opportunity for representatives of international NGOs and networks and national organisations, to discuss with the EYF Secretariat their challenges and questions relating to the preparation of EYF applications and reports.

The sessions took place as follows:

1.  Session 1 for “beginners”, 8 September, 9.30 – 13.00 CET, was dedicated to representatives of international NGOs and networks which have applied and have not succeeded or have never applied, as well as for newly appointed persons in charge of grant applications in NGOs and networks. The session focused on work plans and international activities, including reporting. The meeting took place in person, at the European Youth Forum offices in Brussels (Address: 10 rue de l’Industrie, 1000 Brussels, Belgium).

2.  Session 2 for “advanced”, 9 September, 9.30 – 13.00 CET, was open for representatives of international NGOs and networks which have been supported by the EYF at least two times. The session focused on updates and the upcoming deadline for work plans and international activities, feedback on co-operation with the EYF and reports. The meeting took place in person, at the European Youth Forum offices in Brussels (Address: 10 rue de l’Industrie, 1000 Brussels, Belgium).

3.  Session 3, 15 September, 10.00 – 12.30 CET, online, was dedicated to youth organisations who could not attend the sessions 1 or 2 and covered both information and updates on the EYF.

The sessions were attended altogether by more than 60 representatives of youth organisations and allowed the EYF to introduce its updates and the specificities of the upcoming deadline, and to have a dialogue with youth organisations about their feedback to the EYF and their needs.
