Routes4U Grants | Deadline reminder

Cultural Routes networks certified by the Council of Europe have until the 4 February 2019 to apply to the Routes4U Grants. Project proposals shall produce an added value in the domain of Cultural Routes and EU macro-regional strategies, helping to enhance the common identity within the macro-regional strategies involved.

  • Implementation period: 15 March 2019 until 1 October 2019
  • Budget: 10 000 (ten thousand) euros per grant
  • Eligibility criteria: Be the legally constituted body in charge of a network certified “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe”
  • Deadline for application: 4 February 2019 (12pm CEST)

The call for proposals was launched on 23 November 2018 in the framework of Routes4U (www.coe.int/routes4u), joint programme between the European Union and the Council of Europe. Routes4U aims to create synergies between the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and the four EU macro-regional strategies: the Adriatic-Ionian (EUSAIR), the Alpine (EUSALP), the Baltic Sea (EUSBSR) and the Danube Region (EUSDR).

Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme

Launched by the Council of Europe in 1987, the Cultural Routes demonstrate, by means of a journey through space and time, how the heritage of the different countries and cultures of Europe contributes to a shared and living cultural heritage.
