40 contact parliamentarians are now getting involved in the campaign


22.09.11 - Since January 2011, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has created a network of contact parliamentarians to promote the parliamentary dimension of the campaign.

With the recent appointment of a contact parliamentarian for France and for Moldova respectively, the network now includes 40 members, who have been appointed by national parliaments (September 2011). The network is also open to parliamentarians of non member states and of other international organisations. International partners who have appointed a contact parliamentarian so far include Mexico, Observer state to the Parliamentary Assembly, and the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie.
