A multidisciplinary network of specialists, working on the front lines of the fight against drug related cybercrime will meet in Dublin (Ireland), on 18-19 April 2018, to exchange evidence based experiences and best practices on the latest trends and developments linked to on-line drug crime and the use of darknet for illicit drug trade. This expert group was created in 2014 to respond to the increasing need for a multidisciplinary co-operation platform that brings together specialists from the law enforcement sector, international organisations, academics and the private industry, in order to share know-how on the detection, investigation and prosecution measures with regard to drug related cybercrime, as well as to raise awareness, build partnerships and approach this emerging phenomenon through research, risk management, profiling and improved control.
