The assessment serves as the foundation for developing any anti-rumours initiative or strategy, aiming not only to identify rumours, discriminatory narratives and hate speech related to SOGIESC, but also to understand the social, institutional and local contexts in which they emerge, the factors that sustain them, and their implications for equal dignity, inclusion and living together. It also helps map existing initiatives, key actors and the main challenges and priorities to be addressed through anti-rumours actions and strategies.
