Workshop 8 – Cybercrime capacity building: sustainable training

  26 November 2025

  EN – FR

  09h30 – 11h00 - GMT+3

 Agenda

   Room TBC

Given the threat of cybercrime and the increasing relevance of electronic evidence in criminal proceedings, it is essential that all criminal justice professionals have access to training on these matters. To ensure that, over time, any judge or prosecutor has access to and can participate in relevant training, sustainability of training programmes and strategic approaches to training are essential.

This workshop brings together relevant national and international actors involved in increasing capacity for the gathering of electronic evidence, investigation, prosecution, adjudication and combating cybercrime.  The workshop will also showcase existing training initiatives taking place in African countries and will contribute to identify synergies to enhance cooperation among countries and capacity-building programmes that address actual and potential cybercrime offenses.
