Miriam SOLIMAN

Miriam Soliman is the Project Manager of Momentum in the Capacity Building and Training Directorate at Interpol. Before joining the organization, Ms Soliman worked as Programme Manager at the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ) in Malta – managing, designing and implementing several capacity-building initiatives focusing on countering terrorism, countering terrorism financing and prevention and countering violent extremism for the criminal justice sector worldwide.

Before her work in the IIJ, Ms Soliman was the U.S. Department of Justice Resident Legal Advisor Programme Assistant in the Arabian Peninsula based in the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi. During her seven years tenure, Ms Soliman was responsible for managing more than 70 capacity building and training projects focused on countering terrorism financing, anti-money laundering,  and related organized crime for the criminal justice sector in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Yemen.

Ms Soliman completed her Master's in International Law, Diplomacy and International Relations from the Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi in 2014. Also, she speaks Arabic (native), English, German, French and Italian fluently.
