On the 24th of June 2022, the series of thematic webinars on the Introduction of the Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention on enhanced cooperation and disclosure of electronic evidence was concluded with a final roundtable.
With 50 participants from Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, the roundtable was an excellent opportunity for the participants to engage on discussions on the new tools and procedures brought by the Second Additional Protocol and the future harmonisation of domestic legislation to integrate its provisions for an enhanced international cooperation.
Following the signature of Costa Rica on 13 June, the Second Additional Protocol has up to date 24 signatories.
