The government of Liechtenstein has made a voluntary contribution to support the Council of Europe’s work in Ukraine, with an unearmarked contribution of CHF 70,000 (approximately €67,000) towards the implementation of the Action Plan for Ukraine 2015-2017 and CHF 10,000 (approximately EUR 9,600) to the International Advisory Panel 2015.

Liechtenstein has also given an additional contribution towards the “Platform to promote the protection of journalism and safety of journalists”, bringing their total support to this project to €24,287.55 in 2015.

The agreements were signed on 9 July by Ambassador Daniel Ospelt, Permanent Representative of Liechtenstein to the Council of Europe and by Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
