About CYBOX

With the rise of cybercrime and the increasing reliance on electronic evidence, it is essential for professionals in the criminal justice sector to stay ahead of the criminals. CYBOX is designed to meet the evolving training needs of judges, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and other key stakeholders in the criminal justice system worldwide.

CYBOX creates an environment in which countries cooperating with the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe (C-PROC) can increase their capacity to investigate and prosecute cybercrime. 

CYBOX is an online platform for training and knowledge sharing developed to strengthen the capacity of criminal justice professionals worldwide to combat cybercrime and handle electronic evidence. It offers: 

  • Customizable learning environment: a Moodle-based system tailored for judges, prosecutors, law enforcement, and their training institutions
  • Virtual training hub: Host and deliver online or blended training or workshops. 
  • Resource repository: Access a rich collection of up-to-date training materials, tools, and publications. Share your resources with the community.
  • Knowledge exchange: Connect with peers to share best practices and stay informed on the latest developments.

CYBOX can be used by judicial training institutions, law enforcement authorities, other criminal justice actors and their training institutions, that can access shared resources or set up their own dedicated training spaces tailored to domestic needs.
