Soyoung Park is Deputy Director at the Online Communications Content Review Bureau of the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC). Since joining KCSC in 2013, she has led major international and domestic initiatives to address online harms, protect children, and combat digital sexual exploitation. Her work includes spearheading KCSC’s engagement with global networks like INHOPE and the Global Online Safety Regulators Network (GOSRN), as well as establishing strategic partnerships with platforms such as Telegram, and Discord. She also brings extensive experience in broadcast regulation, specifically in political programming review. Soyoung holds a B.A. in English Literature from Sungkyunkwan University and completed master’s coursework in International Law at Korea University.
