Sêvi Rodolphe ADJAIGBE is a senior Beninese jurist and cyber-law researcher with more than 15 years of professional experience in the digital sector.
He is the current Head of the Partnerships, Cyberdiplomacy and Legal Affairs Office at the National Center for Digital Investigations (CNIN) of Benin. He has worked for more than 5 years within government agencies responsible for combating cybercrime. He is a Member of the current Bureau of the Cybercrime Convention Committee (T-CY) and the designated National Coordinator for the GLACY-e Project.
He was the focal point for Benin’s accession to the Budapest Convention in June 2024. Since 2020, he has represented Benin within the T-CY. He also served as the designated National Coordinator for the GLACY+ Project. In addition, he was a member of the ad hoc Committee responsible for drafting the United Nations Convention on Cybercrime.
At the African level, he served as Benin’s focal point for the ratification of the Malabo Convention in 2024. He is currently a member of the Expert Group responsible for drafting the revision project of the ECOWAS Directive on combating cybercrime.
Finally, he teaches Cybercrime Law using the Budapest Convention approach in several university institutes.
