Dr. Sethasiri Tienpiragul is a distinguished legal scholar and public prosecutor in Thailand, holding a PhD from Thammasat University with a focus on the application of child forensic interviews. With over ten years of experience in criminal, civil, and narcotic litigation, she has handled complex cases involving international cooperation, including mutual legal assistance and extradition. Currently serving as a litigation prosecutor specializing in human trafficking—encompassing prostitution, cross-border cyber scams, and online child sexual abuse material—Dr. Tienpiragul is deeply involved in all aspects of these cases, from conducting joint investigations to court litigation and writing appeals.
In addition to her prosecutorial work, she serves as an arbitrator at the Thailand Arbitration Institute (TAI) under the Court of Justice. A passionate educator, she lectures on various subjects, including criminal justice reform, legal English, child-friendly justice, victimology, and the psychology of interviews and interrogation at prestigious institutions such as Chulalongkorn University and the Thai Bar Association.
