Pablo Maristany de las Casas is an analyst at ISD focusing on pro-Kremlin and pro- Iranian information threats to the EU and their links to far-right and conspiracy groups, especially in Germany. His research includes investigations into RT Germany's use of mirror domain networks to circumvent EU media sanctions, the recent convergence of Russia-aligned hackers with pro-Palestinian hacktivist groups targeting the EU, and the German far-right’s use of generative AI to spread hate and disinformation against minorities, political candidates, and other groups. As part of his endeavour at ISD, Pablo also investigates VLOP's content moderation practices in relation to hateful and extremist content in both Spain and Germany. His work has been featured in media outlets such as Sky News and BR24.

Previously, Pablo was an Open-Source Researcher for Amnesty International’s Evidence Lab, conducting digital investigations during his one-year tenure at Amnesty Germany and founding the Hertie School Digital Verification Corps chapter.
