Nino graduated in law at the University of Munich in 2005. He then conducted research at the University of Hamburg and obtained his doctorate in 2008 on a topic in the field of unfair competition law. This was followed by a mandatory two-year legal traineeship with various stations, including the German Embassy in Cambodia and Bitkom, Germany's digital association based in Berlin. In 2010, he took up his position in the Bavarian judiciary. He worked as a prosecutor and judge in both civil and criminal cases. He was also appointed early on as a press spokesman for his authorities. At the beginning of 2019, he was promoted to the Bavarian Central Office for the Prosecution of Cybercrime, which is based at the Office of the Public Prosecutor General in Bamberg. As a senior public prosecutor, he heads a department investigating and prosecuting high-profile cases of economic cybercrime. His work focuses on combating online fraud, particularly cyber-enabled investment fraud, crypto fraud and pig-butchering scams. In this context, Nino and his team have successfully conducted large-scale operations with dozens of arrests in many countries in recent years, for example Israel, Ukraine, Georgia, Albania, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
