Kristina CERVI

Kristina Cervi serves as the U.S. Department of Justice’s cyber-focused International Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property (ICHIP) Attorney Advisor for Africa, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the U.S. Mission to the African Union.

Since joining DOJ in 2018, Kristina has worked as an Assistant General Counsel in the FBI’s National Security and Cyber Law Branch, providing legal support for high-profile criminal, national security, and cyber investigations. She also served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, handling cases involving violent crime, drug trafficking, and online child exploitation.

Kristina’s achievements include the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence in Outstanding Legal Support (2023) and the National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation (2024) for her contributions to national security prosecutions.

She graduated cum laude from California State University Channel Islands with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and business communications and earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was a member of the Justinian Honor Society and Syracuse Law Review.
