Katerina Paneva is a legal professional, working as a counsellor at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of North Macedonia since 2014, specialising in cybercrime, human rights law, electronic evidence and the attribution of technology-facilitated crimes. Her academic and professional work includes published research on cybercrime-related topics, including OSINT, NCDII, criminal liability and artificial intelligence, as well as work as a national cybercrime expert in EU-funded projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Law and is currently a PhD candidate at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with doctoral research focusing on the stages of intentional cybercrime, attribution and the limits of criminal liability.
