Judge Tuiyott has served as a judge of the Court of Appeal since 2021. Prior to this role, he served in the Commercial and Tax Division of the High Court of Kenya between 2011 and 2021.
Before he was appointed a judge, he served as chairman of the Sugar Arbitration Tribunal from 2010 to 2011. Between 1991 and 2011, Judge Tuiyott practiced as an advocate in several firms in Kenya. His practice included commercial law, property law and constitutional law.
Judge Tuiyott holds a bachelor’s in law from the University of Nairobi, a post-graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a master's of Law from the University of London.
