Lawyer (Universidad de Chile) and MSc in Criminal Justice Policy (The London School of Economics and Political Science).
From 2005-2023 worked at the Public Prosecutor´s Office of Chile, first at the Specialized Unit on Money Laundering, Organized Crime, Cybercrime and Economic Crime, and then as the Head of the International Cooperation and Extraditions Unit (2016-2023), which is Central Authority for MLA (including for the Budapest Convention) and 24/7 point of contact.
In its capacity as Head of the International Cooperation and Extraditions Unit, represented his country at the T-CY and was part of the Second Additional Protocol Drafting Group.
Guest lecturer on transnational criminal law and international criminal law at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile), and other universities.
Consultant for the Council of Europe and other international organizations (international cooperation in criminal matters, cybercrime, organized crime, money laundering and other criminal justice issues).
