The Government of Romania has made a voluntary contribution of € 32 000 towards the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2019-2022, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Azerbaijan 2022-2025, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023, the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2021-2024 and the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022 and its successor action plan, as well as to support the Platform for the Safety of Journalists.

The agreements were signed on 27 September 2022 by Ambassador Ion Jinga, Permanent Representative of Romania to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
