Monaco signs a two-year cooperation agreement

The Principality of Monaco has signed an Agreement which covers the years 2020-2021 and foresees a voluntary contribution of €240,000 to support a number of Council of Europe initiatives.

The areas supported include combatting violence against women and children in Morocco and in Tunisia, the European Court of Human Rights, the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees, the “Start to Talk” campaign and the Bern Convention.

The agreement was signed on 28 February 2020 by Ambassador Rémi Mortier, Permanent Representative of Monaco to the Council of Europe, and by Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
