On 21 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian and the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni launched the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2015-2018.

The Action Plan reflects the priorities of the Armenian authorities related to the legal and institutional reforms currently under way in the country. The Action Plan will support the efforts of the Armenian government and society to reinforce human rights, ensure justice, combat the threats to the rule of law, and promote democratic governance.
