France makes a voluntary contribution for various Action Plans and projects

The Government of France has made a voluntary contribution of €875 000 towards several Council of Europe Action Plans and projects.

This contribution will support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” 2023-2026, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2023-2026, the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2024-2027, the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2021-2024 and its successor Action Plan, the World Forum for Democracy, the Observatory on History Teaching in Europe, the visibility of the Council of Europe, the prevention of violence against women, human rights and equality for LGBTI persons, as well as reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

The agreement was signed on 22 April 2024 by Mr Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate for Europe, and Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General.
