Verena Taylor, Director of the Office of the Directorate General of Programmes addressed the meeting of the Gender Equality Commission, on 23 May 2019 in Strasbourg. “Gender equality is part of the priorities for cooperation in our member States and beyond”, she stated, opening the session on cooperation activities. A report on capacity building and co-operation projects managed by the Council of Europe’s Gender Equality Division was presented in this session, which showcased projects and gave the opportunity to donors and beneficiaries as well as members of the Gender Equality Commission to discuss with project staff.
