Three projects were awarded the European Drug Prevention Prize 2018

Bulgarian, Greek and Turkish projects came out as winners of the biannual European Drug Prevention Prize of the Pompidou Group. During the award ceremony held at the Group’s 17th Ministerial Conference, the three winning projects, Take me in your village (Bulgaria), Workshop for Life (Greece) and Responsible Youth (Turkey), received a trophy, diploma and prize money as recognition of their work. Launched in 2014, the Prevention Prize is awarded to highlight outstanding drug prevention projects that have proved successful in involving young people in their design, implementation and evaluation. It aims to increase awareness of the importance of active youth participation in reducing drug-related harm and creating healthier citizens and communities across Europe. It also seeks to recognise quality drug prevention that is innovative and managed by young people, for young people.
