The European Youth Foundation is visiting projects it is supporting and run by non-governmental youth organisations.

Through the visits the Foundation expects to increase the visibility of the EYF and the Council of Europe; give feedback to the Programming Committee on Youth (more about the Committee); establish contact with youth NGOs; get to know NGOs and the work they do.

Visited projects are organised by non-governmental youth organisations (NGOs) which are registered with the Foundation and received a grant. (More information on the application process).

Back Interview with youth leaders about the No Hate Speech Movement in Ireland

Emmanuel Samuel and Kelvin Akpaloo, two facilitators of the EYF-supported pilot activity “Youth Ambassadors Training Course #SolidActivists", explain how important the No Hate Speech Movement was for Ireland. It is one of the “few countries in Europe that does not have a hate speech legislation”, says Emmanuel Samuel, who “experiences hate speech in his daily life”. Kelvin Akpaloo is convinced that the creativity of young people participating in this activity can create change. Both youth leaders hope that the creation of a strong team of no hate speech fighters in Ireland will definitely contribute to increase the impact of the no hate speech movement.
