The Governance Committee adopted a report on “Home Sharing Platforms, Challenges and Opportunities for Municipalities”. The Commitee reviewed five other reports in progress, namely on: “Territorial Solidarity: the role regions can play”, “Smart Cities and Smart Regions”, “The future role of the municipal councillor”, “Deliberative democracy at local and regional level” and “Regional identities: improving dialogue to reduce regional tensions”. The Committee also held exchanges of views on a report on “Ensuring the Respect of the European Charter of Local Self-Government in Major Crisis Situations” as a contribution to the work of the Monitoring Committee on this report.
