The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities has published a new biannual report Congress Highlights showcasing its key achievements throughout 2024 and the first half of 2025. This new format replaces the traditional Activity Report, last published in 2023, and offers an overview of the Congress’s work since the Reykjavik Summit.

The report outlines the Congress’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the rule of law and uphold human rights at the local and regional levels. It also highlights initiatives to support Ukraine, co-operation with Belarusian democratic forces, as well as Congress’s efforts to counter democratic backsliding, promote democratic values in municipalities and regions, and engage with young people.
