The Government of Portugal has made a voluntary contribution of €105,000 to support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” 2023-2026, cooperation with representatives of Belarusian democratic forces and civil society, the prevention of violence against women and to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

Ambassador Gilberto Jerónimo, Permanent Representative of Portugal to the Council of Europe, met with Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General, on this occasion.
