On Thursday, 30 May 2019, the Council of Europe will organize a formal launching event of the new Council of Europe Action Plan for Azerbaijan 2018-2020.

Representatives of the Azerbaijani authorities and beneficiary organizations as identified in the Action Plan, including representatives of the civil society organizations and media, as well as international partners accredited in Baku will take part in the event.

Mr. Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ms. Verena Taylor, Director of the Office of the Directorate General of Programmes of the Council of Europe will deliver keynote addresses.

Media are invited to cover the opening part of the event from 15h00 to 15h30 on Thursday, 30 May 2019, at the Baku 2 ballroom of the Holiday Inn Baku (Keykab Khanim Safarliyeva Street 5). Language regime: English -Azerbaijani.
