The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has made a voluntary contribution of €89,796.37 to support the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2021.

The Action Plan aims to continue accompanying Bosnia and Herzegovina in its efforts to bring legislation, institutions and practice further into line with European standards in the areas of human rights, the rule of law and democracy and, through this, to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in meeting its obligations as Council of Europe member state.

The agreement was signed on 28 October 2019 by Ambassador Stephan Müller, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe, and by Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
