The Government of Ireland has made a voluntary contribution of €150 000 to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

The agreement was signed on 7 November 2022 by Mr Simon Coveney, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence of Ireland, and Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General.
