The new generation of judges and prosecutors who will soon join the justice system was part of the training on the main principles and sources of freedom of expression. The participants were introduced to the components of freedom of expression as well as to the role of judges and prosecutors in the protection of this right.
Similar sessions with the same target audience will continue in the following days and weeks as part of the initial program of the Academy of Justice.
This initiative is conducted in the framework of the Horizontal Facility II programme, a co-operation initiative co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
