Mr. Patrick Penninckx, Head of the Information Society Service and Mr. Nouri Lajmi, President of HAICA took part in the inaugural meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Online Resource Center for Regulation, Self-Regulation and Media Education. The Scientific Committee is composed of 7 Tunisian and international experts: Neila Chaabane, Associate Professor of Public Law and Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of the University of Carthage, Tunis; Renaud de la Brosse, Professor at the University of Kalmar and Reims, Divina Frau-Meigs, Professor at the University Sorbonne nouvelle and holder of the UNESCO Chair; Manoubi Marouki journalist, editor and CEO of the daily newspaper "La Presse" (1974-2019), a member of the National Council of the Press with Mr. Nouri Lajmi and Patrick Penninckx. The Center aims to reach out to a wide audience interested in issues of regulation, self-regulation and media literacy and to bring together existing resources in this area. The center will be launched in March at a meeting in hybrid format at the University of Tunis.
