The 3rd Global Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network took place on June 3-5, 2019, in Berlin. Organised in partnership with the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the forum benefited from the institutional support of the Council of Europe, European Commission, ICANN, OECD, UN ECLAC, and UNESCO.

Jan Kleijssen, the Director of the Information Society - Action against Crime Directorate of the Council of Europe addressed the expected 280 senior-level participants to promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in dealing with internet related issues and in development and deployment of new technologies.

The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network is a multistakeholder organisation addressing the tension between the cross-border Internet and national jurisdictions.
