The European Youth Foundation is visiting projects it is supporting and run by non-governmental youth organisations.

Through the visits the Foundation expects to increase the visibility of the EYF and the Council of Europe; give feedback to the Programming Committee on Youth (more about the Committee); establish contact with youth NGOs; get to know NGOs and the work they do.

Visited projects are organised by non-governmental youth organisations (NGOs) which are registered with the Foundation and received a grant. (More information on the application process).

Monitoring visit to the MYCP – Migration Youth and Children Platform for their international activity “Migration youth forum”

On 20 and 21 January 2024, the EYF staff visited the Migration youth forum, organised by the MYCP in co-operation with the IOM – International Organisation for Migrations and the French Chairmanship of the Global Forum for Migration and Development Summit.

The main aim of the activity was to engage with young people and prepare a delegation of youth representatives to attend the GFMD Summit, taking place in Geneva this week.

The EYF supported the international activity with an input to the round table on multi-level migration management.

A representative of the Advisory Council on Youth attended and provided input to the opening of the Migration Youth Forum on 20 January 2024.

This is the 4th edition of this Forum, and allows young activists in the field of migration from all over the world to raise the issues concerning young people in migration towards states.

The EYF provided an international activity grant to MYCP for this activity.
