The EUR-OPA Committee of Permanent Correspondents and the Directors of Specialised Centres held their joint meeting in Paris on 17 and 18 November. The main aim of the meeting was to discuss the priorities of work for 2023, taking into account the Medium-Term Plan 2021-2025 and the budget for 2023. The permanent correspondents decided to pursue in 2023 their reflection on the use of social media to support national measures for successful disaster risk communication with a view to adopting a recommendation. The meeting was also the occasion to review the ongoing and proposed projects implemented by the network of specialised centres.
