In accordance with the recommendations of the French authorities, and as an expression of civic responsibility and solidarity in these difficult times, the Council of Europe is taking emergency measures to stop the spread of the Covid 19 epidemic.

By decision of the Secretary General, the Organisation is pursuing its activities with full commitment based widely on teleworking.

As regards the events organised by the Secretariat of the EUR-OPA Major Hazards Agreement which were to take place in March and April at the Council of Europe headquarters in Strasbourg and in the member states, we have developed alternative solutions wherever possible and you will be informed by our team.
