The meeting of the EUR-OPA Bureau was held in Strasbourg on 12 April 2018. The participants discussed in particular the budgetary situation of the EUR-OPA Agreement and took note of the adjustments to the work programme following the discontinuation of Turkey as a major contributor.

The implementation of the 2018 programme of activities was examined as well as the collaborative platform for the network of EUR-OPA scientific centres. The structure of the next plenary meeting was decided and it will be organised in the framework of the Croatian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers in Croatia or Strasbourg on 6-7 November. The Bureau discussed also the Secretariat proposals to restructure EUR-OPA in 2020.
