Hosted this year by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB), Chair of the EFDRR, the meeting is organised in collaboration with UNISDR Europe and the Council of Europe (EUR-OPA Agreement). The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate discussion, exchanges and synergies towards disaster risk reduction activities in Europe and provide inputs from European Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) Focal Points to the Post-HFA consultations. Additional topics to be discussed include the links with climate change adaptation and local authorities’ specific role.
