The International Network of National Judicial Trainers: third P2P workshop (second series)

Within the framework of the second series of practitioners-to-practitioners workshops of the International Network of National Judicial Trainers, a third webinar was held on 14 April focusing on Online child sexual exploitation abuse (OCSEA).

Five national judicial trainers from Tunisia, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Tonga, presented their countries’ approach and legislation on this matter, as well as investigation techniques. The speakers also shared their experience, including the challenges they have been facing, and presented several national law cases. One of the recurrent topics that the speakers and the participants highlighted was the need for effective and enhanced international cooperation facilitated by the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.

This workshop reunited nearly 70 practitioners from about 20 countries that actively engaged with the speakers during the entire workshop.

The series of workshops will continue in the next months, by focusing on other cybercrime related topics. More information can be found on the dedicated webpage.
