On 3 February 2023, the Council of Europe in collaboration with the European Union and INTERPOL, organised the 13th GLACY+ Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee was organised as a hybrid event and benefited from the participation of national coordinators and representatives of the priority countries, project partners and various units in the European Commission.
The meeting was an excellent opportunity for the participants to engage in a dialogue on reviewing the core activities delivered in the period of August 2022-January 2023, underlining relevant updates and performances of the project, and discussing the existent improvements in priority countries regarding operational policies and developments in the criminal justice sector and other cybercrime topics.
The meeting allowed the project management team to present the progress made since the beginning of the project and the framework of the third phase of GLACY, the new GLACY-e project, that will continue to build on the efforts and achievements of the GLACY+ project from its inception in early August 2023.
